Lazy Days of Summer Challenge - Flag Day

This is an older manicure so I won't post much about it...it was done for Canada Day/Flag Day but because I'm posting these challenges in order, I'm just reposting. I probably could have done another patriotic manicure but honestly, I haven't had the time for nail art lately D: Pre-cleanup picture too...but I promise I'll put in more effort for my next picture/manicure!

Here is what I used!
Model's Own White (Accent nails, white maple leaf, white french tip)
Essie Jag-U-Are (Red accent nail, red maple leaf, red french tip)
OPI Samoan Sand (1 coat of my go-to sheer nude on my pointer and pinky finger)

Lazy Days of Summer Challenge - Ombre

CHALLENGE TWO - OMBRE

For this challenge, I worked hard to make a blue > green gradient, hunting down the right polishes without mixing one color with black or white (That's too boring/easy).

Then somebody on the Summer Challenge FB group reminded me that ombre is usually strictly one color, not a shift from one color to another. So after doing that hard work and picking out 5 colors to gradient, I couldn't just discard the research.

I did a proper pink ombre on my left hand, and I had a blue > green ombre on the right. Then I put China Glaze, Fairy Dust, over the whole thing. I loved it so so so very much!

Without further ado, here are the two pictures I captured, one of each hand. I loved the look. It was cool, one side was very feminine and the other was a touch more edgy.

Left hand. I sponged gradients every other nail
from 1 color to the next. 3 colors used total.

This is the right hand. Ignore yellow hands in
favor of color accuracy on nails, sowwy.
